New Year

It’s the new year.

This year passed by really quickly, possibly the most quickly as compared to all the other years.

This year wasn’t really the best year, but there were happy things and fun things that happened still. ^^

Next year, I hope to work harder in school, as well as start doing more translating (passion discovered in the later half of this year), make more videos, and also achieve some goals that I’d rather keep to myself. ^^

Regarding new year resolutions, I’ve decided not to write those, because I know clearly what exactly I want to achieve, so there’s really no need to write them down. They’re bugging me everyday anyways.

Exams are over.

I am currently slacking at home everyday.

I have a long list of dramas and anime to watch, and books to read. And of course I’m doing translations nowadays everyday. But that’s idol stuff so you won’t be interested.

Current drama I’m watching: Freeter. Dark, realistic, sad, frustrating. Yeah. I’m hoping to finish it soon. I have a love-hate relationship with this drama.

Current anime I’m watching: Clannad. One word: Evil. How on earth can every single episode end with a cliffhanger? I told myself I will watch 2 episodes and stop. But then I went on and on and on and on because I can’t stop due to the cliffhangers! >< Evil evil evil.

Current manga I’m reading: What happened to Fairy Tail? Detective Conan and Deadman Wonderland. The former is a mystery manga with dead bodies in most chapters but the latter is much more grosser than it. But I can’t stop reading DW. Shiro is just too……cute. XD

Current book I intend to read: Murder of Roger Ackroyd by Agatha Christie. I’m still brainwashing myself to forget the major spoiler of the book that I came across by accident, and I think it’s working. So I can read it now. XD

And besides that, I’m in the process of subbing a drama, so…

I’m gonna be really busy at home these holidays. XDD

Cathay showed Detective Conan movie 15. Screening ends today. I only found out tonight. I found out and was extremely happy, and was extremely sad when I found out screening already ended. What. But anyways. Even if I’d been able to watch it I’d probably not been able to enjoy it nowadays. School is just…sigh.

I really want to watch Conan on the big screen one day….though I don’t think there’s gonna be as many Conan movies left.

Ah well.

School is busy. I still have many stuff left undone. I’m so slow at all these.

I think I’m dead next week. Hope I’ll have more time…………….

Videos!

I finally bought my Sony Vegas Movie Studio HD 9.0!!! ^^

Yay! ^^ I’ve wanted it for months and months, ever since last year, even before I started uni…. I’ve been thinking and considering, because it really costs a lot. Finally, I decided that I absolutely had to have it, so I finally bought it. ^^ Along with the DVD Architect. Both are such love. ^^

I’m loving my Sony Vegas now. It’s just so wonderful. And though sometimes it doesn’t support certain file types, it’s still alright, and I don’t regret my decision to buy it.

Right after I bought it, the next day I’ve already started using it. >////<

I’ve subtitled one video and created a fanvideo already. It’s so wonderful. ^^ Time to start converting my photos into dvds next. And of course, continue making fanvideos. I’m so addicted to it now. XD Haha.

Wants

I want a new laptop. Yup. Still thinking about which to buy… I’m thinking HP, hopefully the laptop won’t give me much problems. I’ve read reviews and some are good and some are horrible, so now I have no idea which to buy. 2 choices… still balancing between them…

I want the Sony Vegas Movie Studio HD 9. Can’t wait any longer anymore. Gosh. I love that software. The free trial just isn’t enough. I really want to make lots of videos with it.

I want the Agatha Christie book “Murder of Roger Ackroyd”. Heard it was one of the most controversial novels of hers so far. Interesting. Hope I’ll get to buy it at Kino next time. Agatha Christie rocks. I think I love her writing style more than Doyle’s. But… I like Holmes better than Poirot. XD I’m starting to read Ellery Queen too. Hope that’s interesting as well. Mystery novels rock. They’re so interesting. If you have any classic mystery novels, Agatha Christie, etc… don’t hesitate to lend it to me!

So yeah… I think I shall be buying these things within this long holiday. *excited*

Exam Time

Others might not think it's a big deal to have a designed program actually work…let alone PART of a program. But. It really takes a long time for me to design programs, and usually it comes with loads of errors and I'd have to debug it for hours.

But. This time. Even though it may seem really easy to others, after some planning and all, I really did not expect the program to actually work. So perfectly. On first try. I'm shocked. And touched. It's unbelievable.

Nothing is ever more satisfying. Really. I'm so happy. I'd planned to actually burn the midnight oil to finish that part. Didn't expect the result to come so quickly.

Thank you, java program, for working and allowing me to get some peaceful sleep now. I'm so happy.

I love the feeling of seeing a program I designed work. It's really satisfying. Although you might not understand, but it's okay. XD I'm just really happy now.

…I’m nervous about my grades in electives for some reason. Especially that literature module. I don’t really know whether I can write. I know I’m at least a C for the mid-term essay. That doesn’t help. The module was fun though.
